CMS Open Payments PY2025 general payments, Food and Beverage, published by CMS on 2026-06-30 and pulled from the CMS Open Payments datastore by ZIP prefix on 2026-10-11: 844,320 payment rows, counting 859,371 meals. This build ran at 2026-10-11T21:05:20+00:00.

Rules

No clinician is ever named, and no row-level record, NPI or street address leaves the pipeline. Every number, map dot and leader on this site comes from a group that passes all three rules below; any group that fails is not shown.

• at least 11 distinct clinicians;
• at least 3 distinct practice addresses;
• no single practice address accounting for more than 50% of its meals.

Limits

• A meal is a disclosed payment, not evidence of influence. Nothing here shows that a meal changed a prescription, a referral or any other decision.
• The data has no field for the sales rep, the restaurant or venue, or the kind of meal, so none of those appear.
• Meals are placed at the clinician's practice ZIP, not where the meal was eaten and not where patients live.
• A row that bundles several meals is dated to its first payment. Bundled rows count toward totals but are kept out of the day and week series.
• ZIP centroids stand in for neighborhoods on the map.
• Payers whose meals in a metro land at least 80% in one ZIP, over at least 200 meals, are left out of ZIP views and stay in metro totals and the race:
